Job Title: APAC Regional Lead of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Location: Bangalore, Mumbai

Role Description

The Organisation Development Specialist may lead, manage or be responsible for any one or more of the following activities: working with business stakeholders in identifying the leadership requirements of either a Division/Business Unit/region or of the bank as a whole, conducting leadership assessments, leading on succession planning and/or coaching initiatives, developing and delivering solutions that enhance the banks overall performance, engagement and culture including formulating and designing tools and/or frameworks that confirm role requirements, contribution expectations, facilitating the approach to managing and delivering performance and/or measuring employee engagement, driving organisation culture initiatives, developing and implementing strategies/policies and/or processes related to the development of the organisation with regards to diversity and inclusion, position descriptions, role taxonomies, career pathing and career management, including the governance of any of the aforementioned policies and processes as well as stakeholder management.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the APAC senior management to develop, set and implement a cross APAC DEI strategy and agenda--integrated with the bank\'s global strategy
  • Provide DEI subject matter expertise (incl. production of toolkits, learning content, etc.) across HR and beyond, adapting global resources for the region, including inclusive leadership training
  • Monitor progress against APAC 35 by 25 ambitions, ensure senior management awareness, develop and recommend solutions to course correct where necessary
  • Support design and facilitation of interventions/programs to support diverse talent. Ensure understanding of client requirements and facilitate planning and prioritization process for diverse talent initiatives to enable efficient delivery
  • Work with data (e.g., representation data, hiring data, Total Performance Indicator data, People Survey results, Gender Pay Gap insights, etc.) to draw conclusions on areas of focus and to course correct where necessary
  • Activate leaders and staff to sustainably support the DEI strategy, to act as visible change agents and to make progress against the objectives set
  • Co-ordinate, guide/consult and actively support the APAC Employee Resource Groups. Increase collaboration across ERGs in the region and roll-out the ERG Playbook
  • Produce/release internal/external communication across all channels in close collaboration with Group Communication. Develop APAC DEI landing pages for internal communication
  • Monitor DEI related regulation and support implementation
  • Coordinate and produce input/responses to selective key external benchmarks, rankings, analyst and client requests
  • Represent the bank in regional key external DEI bodies, at key expert or client events. Cultivate partnerships with key external partner organizations and supplier to ensure innovative/cutting edge practices in talent development and DEI are maintained
Your Skills & Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) field in India and across APAC region
  • Experience in facilitating and consulting across management levels up to regional senior level teams on DEI topics
  • Global organizational experience in a multi-national context
  • Experience in working in a matrix environment and in remote teams
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Experience in developing briefings and presentations for executive level meetings
  • Degree level education a plus
