Job Description

• Participate in the technical aspects of the software solution through the full lifecycle of the project including requirements, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, support & maintenance
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Extensive knowledge of mobile app development including the whole process from the first line of code to publishing on the store
• Ability to design xml, develop, test, document, deploy, support and sustain the mobile apps
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude

• Ability to perform in a team environment
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Strong knowledge of Android Studio, Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns & best industry practices
• Understanding of Material design principles, interface guidelines & sound knowledge of the publishing process on Play Store
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Expert in REST APIs, JSON, Data-binding & Local storage
• Extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts, design patterns and code architectures(MVP and MVVM is necessary), should have a strong passion for software development
• Knowledge of POSTMAN, Gradle & Maven
• Knowledge of Bug Reporting Tools & database operations.
• Knowledge in integrating payment gateways
• Should be able to work on open-source / third party libraries
• Hands-On Experience on GPS, Notifications, Maps, Geo-Fencing, Image Processing, OCR
• Familiarity with all necessary Google Services and API's like Firebase, Map's API etc.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and converting existing Java code into Kotlin
