Job Description

Android Developer Requirements:

BE/Masters in computer science or equivalent technical degree.

Min 2+ years and max 6 years of experience and Android skills development.

Proficiency in Java, Kotlin. (C++ Added Advantage).

Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease.

Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Have published at least one original Android app.

Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

Experience working with Offline data via SQLite and File Storage.

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (cloud message APIs and push notifications. etc).

Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging

technologies.

Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Excellent coding, proofreading and teamwork skills.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Android Developer Responsibilities:

Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android devices.

Ensuring that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the company's

standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Monitoring app reviews to detect areas for improvement.

Proofreading your code and correcting mistakes before each app is released.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development

efficiency
