Roles & Responsibilities

• Android Application developer is responsible for Software coding, Static Code Analysis, Unit testing, integration testing and Defect analysis & fix of android based applications in automotive Infotainment production program
• Review your code and correcting mistakes before each application is released
• Ensure that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the project's standards
• Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, testers and architects to ensure that each application is presentable and in perfect working order.
• Continue to learn, grow, and help us tackle brand new challenges

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• 4+ years of strong programming experience in Java and other User Interface technologies with Object Oriented Programming design patterns
• 2+ years of experience in developing Android HMI / Application software for embedded products.
• Hands on experience in

• Android application development using SDK / NDK in Linux based environment
• MVP architecture based HMI designing and development
• Android O/P/Q experience on embedded products
• Android messaging frameworks
• Android Services and AIDL/binder communication
• Android development tool chain (debuggers, emulators, compilers, profiler,etc.).
• Proficient in source code version tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins and static code analysis tool like sonarQube, lint etc
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills

• Experience in Automotive infotainment application domain
