Job Description


As a Data Verification manager, you will be responsible to -

  • Understand business objectives and provide credible challenge to analysis requirements
  • Verify sound analysis practices and data decisions were leveraged throughout planning and data sourcing phases
  • Conduct in-depth research within complex data environments to identify data integrity issues, and propose solutions to improve analysis accuracy
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation exists supporting the end-to-end analysis approach and execution
  • Communicate results to business partners
  • Apply critical evaluation to challenge assumptions, formulate a defendable hypothesis, and ensuring high quality analysis results
  • Ensure adherence to data management/ data governance regulations and policies
  • Participate in data or LOB specific projects and work alongside other data analysis professionals;
  • Be results driven, detail-oriented, demonstrate strategic thinking and creativity;
  • Be capable of initiating action and managing change in a fast paced environment;
  • Have strong relationship management, influencing, organizational and execution skills; communicate effectively and ensure that all deliverables are met;
  • Be a critical thinker with an innovative mindset, coupled with a track record for creating solutions that are efficient, effective, and essential;
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
  • Mentor or manage more less experienced staff, interns, and external contractors
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Market Skills and Certifications

Essential Qualifications
  • Around 10+ years in similar analytics roles
  • M.A./M.Sc. College Degree or Higher in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis.
  • ~9 years advanced programming exposure in SAS or SQL
  • ~9 years of experience with relational databases Teradata, Oracle or similar database
  • 6+ years of experience managing people and projects
  • Able to guide, mentor and provide technical assistance to the team
  • Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies.
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Detail oriented, results driven, and has the ability to navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Banking and financial in Consumer lending (Home, Auto, PVSI, Non-Lending, Small Business and Personal Lines), Deposit Product Group, Card Retails and Merchant Services, investment solution and commercial banking is preferable.
  • Ability to act with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to learn the business aspects quickly, multitask and prioritize between projects.
  • Exhibits appropriate sense of urgency in managing responsibilities
  • Ability to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlines
  • Available to flex schedule per based on business need
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation, communication & presentation skills
  • Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity and trustworthiness
