RFP, Nuveen
The Nuveen RFP job assists with the management and delivery of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and for creating additional documentation to support the organization\'s RFP processes, including drafting Requests for Information (RFIs), pricing proposals and ad hoc documents for external and internal clients. Working under close supervision, this job supports RFP projects to meet detailed client specifications and comply with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supports Request for Proposal (RFP) projects from initial receipt through RFP delivery.
  • Drafts responses to RFPs in compliance with client requirements.
  • Attends RFP meetings with subject matter experts internally to ensure the sales positioning meets the objective of the sales strategy aligned to each proposal.
  • Builds relationships with key internal business partners and stakeholders.
  • Assists management in updating database content with responses from recent proposals.
  • Contributes to creating information on improving processes in the proposal cycle to RFP Response team members and related business partners.

Position Summary and Impact:

Position Summary: The Content Database Analyst/Trainee on the Nuveen Marketing team will play a lead role in the updating and maintaining quantitative and qualitative information in consultant databases, questionnaires. Role involved working with US team and coordinating and providing responses to RFP team, Stake holders and Sales team for business opportunities.

Updating the Firm, strategy, and fund level Performance, Aum, Characteristics, Holdings, Personnel data on quarterly and monthly basis on different CDB\xe2\x80\x99s such as Evestment, GIMD, Callan, Wilshire etc. via OMNI Updating qualitative performance at Firm and Strategy level Monthly/Quarterly/Annual review of quantitative and qualitative contents Coordinating with various stake holders for providing and maintaining the data.

Impact : The position allows TIAA to market its products and maintain the market visibility which will leads to generate new business opportunities.

Functional Leadership Responsibilities:

_Provide the monthly/quarterly and annual timely data request to various consultant databases.

_Responsible for updating and maintaining qualitative updates and responses to the consultant databases.

_Working on Adhoc requests from the Clients, Consultant, and sales team.

_Perform the business search opportunities from the consultant databases, clients, and sales team.

_Maintaining products mapping and business rules for quantitative updates for production interval

_Setting up the various asset classes products (Equity, Fixed Income, Municipal, Real Estate Funds etc.) profile in databases.

_Responsible to develop effective collaboration with Data, RFP, Products team for effective quantitative and qualitative responses.

_Develop rapport with various consultant team for effective resolution of any query/issues.

_Maintaining the ad-hoc trackers and task checklists, its backup and be adherence to complete task to its due date

_Documenting and maintain the process SOPs and documentation of any events/process.

_Develop an understanding on products and identify and work on the prospect projects.

_Maintain and track the record for any error

_Assist the team in preparing data for monthly quarterly governance deck and utilizations reports.

_ Maintain cordial relationship within the team, participate actively during team calls and assist team members in gathering & updating data, formatting documents in line with organization standards.

_Acquire and develop deep understanding of the organizational structure and dynamics.

_Navigate the organization effectively to obtain necessary data sources or information to efficiently complete client requests.

Required Education:

Masters

MBA/PGDM (Finance) or equivalent

Preferred Education:

CFA L1, AMFI

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

Skills and Experience:

_Basic understanding of Investment Management industry along with sound knowledge of financial concepts

_Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills

_Excellent project management skills to organize and prioritize competing priorities in deadline driven environment

_Ability to work well under pressure and building relationship with different stake holders throughout the organization

_A self-starter who can work independently and as a member of a team _Must be proficient in Excel and Word and quick learner of various data systems

_Client focused mindset, diligence, accuracy, flexibility and attention to detail

_Keen desire to learn new concepts/processes and innovate to enhance efficiency

Experience on Consultant Databases (eVestment, Mercer, Morningstar, _Callan etc.), content management and OMNI platform, would be preferred.

Special Skills:

_Proficient with MS Office

_Knowledge and familiarity with Consultant databases

_Knowledge on working with OMNI.
