Department Description Distrobution production service is responsible to keep the systems running and help in business to complete their daily BAU\'s without hussle. Sonata acts as a key platform which coomunicates with multiple other systems and used in client dealing, payment, pricing, distributions, letters, S&V, customer creation etc. This department always needs resource who are passionate and can go extra mile to satisfy business needs. Purpose of the Role The position is for an application support specialist in WPFH / Distribution Support team. Need highly motivated individual to work in WPFH / Distribution System support team for supporting applications based on PL/SQL (Sonata) interfacing with other AAA applications / components like PaaS, GFAS, Informatica, Control-M, JDE etc. as well as systems of 3rd party associates and partners. In order to provide support and services to customers, the successful candidate may be required to work UK or India business hours & provide On-call support outside the normal business hours. This demanding role would perfectly suit a dynamic individual looking to work in a fast paced environment to ensure the smooth running of business critical systems Key Responsibilities Provide technical Support, complete ownership for problem diagnosis and resolution for SQL / Data Related Issues. Understand and write the SQL queries and stored procedures. Problem analysis and resolution - with a focus on Data analysis. At least 2 years of Java/J2EE development or support experience and willing to work in Automation Team Experience for both python and Java is preferable. Good analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills. Solid people networking and collaboration skills Good knowledge on front end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery. 2+ years building OO systems with Java with real in-depth knowledge of both areas 2+ years web services development experience including skills from Java and Web services Knowledge of XML and practical experience using it with Java Good knowledge of UNIX, Maven, shell, command prompt and experience of continuous integration Spring / other IOC containers Knowledge of cloud foundry apps/orgs. Experience on IBM MQ. Understanding of API Terminology/Methods Knowledge for Tools Like Eclipse, Py charm /Spyder,Postman, Mq manager Experience of best practices development methodologies. Especially Agile Tomcat deployments and configurations Performance tuning experience Provide On-call 24X7 support and willing to work in shifts Good to have knowledge on AWS Cloud and basic architecture. Experience and Qualifications Required 2-6 years overall experience within IT B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University. 2-6 years of relevant industry experience and at least 2 years in Oracle PL/SQL Proven record of achievements as a Application and Production Support using Oracle PL/SQL for global applications with an understanding of internationalisation aspects. 3rd Party Products integration experience. Experience of complete project lifecycle execution from Requirements Analysis to Production Support. Experience of working with multi-cultural and geographically disparate teams. Working knowledge of Java and Control M would be an additional advantage Expertise in stored procedures and database development in Oracle PL/SQL and upgrade versions.
