POSITION OVERVIEW (INTRO TO JOB): We are looking for a Technical Application Consultant for Supply Chain IT. The ideal candidate will have past experience in Supply Planning in a field relevant to the Supply Chain in Retail and/or Apparel. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about improving user experience through efficient processes and systems.

ABOUT THE JOB (RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Work on o9 support in the domain of Supply Planning / Demand Planning / Control Tower / Integrated Business Planning.
• Engage business teams and project teams to understand issues, requests and requirements and deliver solutions like issue fixes, business processes, functional specifications and application enhancements with service agreements
• Communicate clearly and accurately requests and requirements to cross-functional teams, IT and business stakeholders, IT vendors. Who are involved in solutions and solutions to business teams
• Work closely with Solution Architects and Leads to support the implemented solutions.
• Create and execute workflows and test-cases to document the solved issues.
• Work closely with o9 Customer Service Team in support activities cross regions and cross time zones to deliver best services
• Prioritize and track support issues to maintain the best practice of the support operations
• Identify opportunities for improvement in functional and technical processes related o9
• Participate on projects in o9 application areas and complete assignments
• Work across different business teams like Merchandising, Planning, Order management, Logistics and Sales to identify and resolve cross team application issues by collaboration with application stakeholders

ABOUT YOU (QUALIFICATIONS):

• 3+ years of IT experience in supply chain area
• In-depth knowledge of o9 Solutions and working experience in o9 projects or IT support.
• o9 certification on Reference Models, IBP Technical - Functional Platform is a plus.
• Enterprise integrations experience of Supply Chain Planning tools with other systems like ERP, PLM etc.
• Experience of continuous process improvements and enhancements of IT applications
• Experience of business engagement, understanding business requirements and mapping requirements to IT processes and functional specifications
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional team partnership
• Languages: SQL, o9 IBPL is required and R, Python, SAS, or similar is plus
