Job summary This position will be based in Eaton?s Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) in Pune. This position will be based in Pune and will be in Shared service center of Supply Chain Management function(SCM Services). The principle role of the this position is to support Electrical Business in US region in the tactical procurement activities.
Person in this position will be responsible for effectively supporting all the supply planning and tactical procurement activities within Material Execution function. This includes understanding materials procurement,planning supplies for production,ongoing supplier relationship management and effective stakeholder relationship management.This position require the incumbent to work in US shifts. Job responsibilities

• Demand Planning, PO creation and timely PO acknowledgement & follow up with suppliers;
• Manage open POs through confirmations for deliveries, updating ERPs and manging orders till delivery
• Meeting the SLAs as defined;
• Creating and timely upgrading the SOPs and other related documents, meeting QMS requirments;
• Timely resolution of ?On Hold? invoices for the various sites working closely with site, suppliers, IM team;
• Day to day communication with various stakeholders like Site Buyers,SCM Manager,Suppliers with timely actions and resolutions, attending/leading site tier meeting .
• Working Knowledge of ERP - SAP/Oracle/Mpaic/Vista;
• Sound knowledge of End to End P2P cycle, Product Costing & Manufacturing Processes;
• Should be able to initiate and execute projects to achieve Cost Out/Saving, Productivity Targets
• Planning daily/weekly material from vendor menaged warehouse to different plants
• Controlling Inventory at site level and vendor managed warehouse level
• Ramp up/dowm planning for re-soursing parts
• Monitoring suppliers for capacity issues & long term planning based on forecasts
• Acting as a Lead Buyer Role for the entire division managed from GSC CoE
• Responsible for Driving key Projects for Process standardization
• This individual will support the Business Supply Chain team in the following areas, but not limited to, data entry, reporting, data validation, business process improvement and project work. The scope is further extended to developing new supply chain processes and horizontal deployment of best practices. The role will primarily focus on SAP Materials Management but shall also encompass all aspects of all Business.
• Have good general understanding of Materials Management with deep understanding of Supply Planning and Inventory Management concepts.
• Working knowledge of SAP, specifically Material Master, PIR, Source List, BOM structures and cost related t-codes
• Execute and manage exception reporting, data validation, etc (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Understanding of concepts related to MRP/material planning
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, (power query a plus, vlookups, xlookups, pivot tables, etc. and Word)
• Candidate must be ready to work in night shift (6pm to 3 am)

• Graduate in Engineering or Equivalent/ Post Graduate in any stream
