Job purpose:

The Market Research Analyst specializing in Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis plays a pivotal role in our organization, dedicated to providing precise and insightful market intelligence. The primary purpose of this role is to conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative market analyses, ensuring the accurate collection of data, effective analysis, and the timely delivery of client-ready market research reports. Leveraging expertise in market estimation and forecasting techniques, the Analyst contributes to informed decision-making processes, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality, actionable insights to our clients.

About The Role:

Responsibilities:

• Gather required information by utilizing various sources, including subscription databases, the internet, print media, company representatives, external research organizations, and telephonic interviews with industry experts.
• Filter and extract relevant themes to provide a comprehensive understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, company financial information, technology stages, competitors, and service comparisons.
• Conduct exhaustive quantitative and qualitative analysis on a variety of industry sectors to identify key market trends and opportunities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in comprehending investment criteria and actively contribute to the identification of optimal opportunities within the market.
• Utilize both secondary and primary research resources and techniques, including interviews and surveys, to gather data.
• Conduct competition benchmarking, SWOT analysis, PESTLE analysis, and other strategic analysis to provide comprehensive market assessments.
• Write detailed market study reports within stipulated timelines, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Have hands-on experience in writing both customized and syndicated market research reports.
• Work on designing analysis plans and develop effective market research strategies.
• Demonstrate expertise in market estimation and forecasting techniques. Provide accurate and reliable forecasts based on thorough market analysis.
• Assist the line manager in preparing market study proposals, research collaterals, catalogues, white papers.
• Create visually appealing and informative presentations based on research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain data repositories to facilitate efficient data storage and retrieval.

About You

• 2-4 years of work experience in a market research or business advisory domain, demonstrating the ability to work independently with commitment, self-motivation, and a genuine interest in the structure and market dynamics in the energy sector.
• B. Tech or M. Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
• Previous exposure to or experience within the Energy industry is considered an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, including total fluency in English.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent proficiency in Excel, and a sound command of PowerPoint and Word.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills, with the capacity to work both independently and within a team.
