Process Overview The Global Information Security (GIS) is responsible for protecting Bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. The team develops the Bank\'s Information Security strategy and policy, manages the Information Security program, identifies and addresses vulnerabilities, Develops, deploys and manages a risk-based controls, portfolio, Manages and operates global security operations center that monitor, detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents. The GIS Cybersecurity Specialist will work with the GIS CSA Compliance and Threat Assurance team activities to contribute to the operational and compliance assessment of GIS and the enterprise cyber security control environment. This role will assist in maintaining a global coverage plan supporting first line\'s assessment and risk management activities. The GIS Cybersecurity Specialist will assist in preparing materials for GIS regulatory exams/audits/inquiries and may assist with preparation for GIS/CF regulatory exams/audits/inquiries for the AMRS, APAC & EMEA regions. Responsibilities The Cyber Security Specialist is accountable for assisting the GIS CSA Compliance and Threat Assurance team in the proactive identification, escalation of assessment compliance and operational risks through the execution of some or all the following activities: Assists in the development of assessment compliance reporting for respective area(s) of coverage with input from assessment & management routines Assists with the development and maintenance of GIS owned policies and standards and/or the review of FLU/CF-owned policies, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are compliant or operational risk are appropriately identified Monitors the regulatory environment to identify regulatory changes applicable to area(s) of coverage and maintains a comprehensive regulatory inventory may support communication of regulatory changes to the GIS/CF and ensuring that policies, standards, procedures and/or processes are appropriately implemented or amended to address regulatory requirements Assists with assessment data management of control functions, assessment status, and assessment framework reports Assists with daily support of assessment activities to include project management, data analysis, and responding to assessment inquires Requirements Education: Bachelor\'s Degree or technology and cybersecurity background Experience Range: 03-05 years Foundational skills: Experience in Cyber Security Project management skills Proficient in MS office suite e.g., Excel, Word, PPT Knowledge of industry cybersecurity frameworks Ability to effectively work with partners at varying knowledge and organization levels Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technology/development and business partners - ability to translate between these two constituencies Highly organized and motivated to deliver results with minimal direction Creative and proactive problem solver - ability to understand what the team needs and offer suggestions above and beyond what they desire Naturally curious individual with the ability to quickly become the authority in the various data and systems used by the team Desired skills: Communication skills with peers, subordinates, and executive leadership Technical verbal and written communication skills Work Timings: 02:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST Job Location: Hyderabad
