About the position:

The Global Business Services (GBS) team is an organization established within Boston Scientific designed to reduce cost, provide value through reporting and improve the efficiency of key business processes by taking opportunities to drive standardization, leverage resources and knowledge and skills, and monitor the effectiveness of service delivery against benchmarks and service level agreements. Responsibilities:

• Creating regular and ad-hoc reports based on business requirements, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data in reports using reporting tools and software to extract relevant information.
• Designing and developing dashboards for real-time data visualization, customizing dashboards to meet specific departmental or executive needs, ensuring dashboards are user-friendly and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Conducting quality checks on reports to ensure data accuracy, implementing data validation processes to maintain data integrity, addressing and resolving discrepancies or errors in reporting.
• Meeting deadlines for regular reporting cycles, communicating any challenges or delays in the reporting process, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of reports.
• Translating data insights into actionable recommendations, collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs, communicating the implications of data trends to non-technical audiences.
• Working effectively with colleagues from various departments, such as marketing, finance, or operations

Key Skills:

• Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis, collaborating with other teams to understand their analytical needs.
• Required to have a business-centric approach, a focus on data, analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering results.
• Translating data insights into actionable recommendations, collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs , communicating the implications of data trends to non-technical audiences.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes, implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time, Staying informed about industry best practices in reporting and analytics.
• Capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment.
• Take full ownership of assigned tasks and projects. Demonstrate a sense of responsibility for the outcomes.
• A team player, acknowledge and address challenges proactively. Support team members and hold oneself accountable to team success.

Technical Skills:

• SQL, Advanced Excel and VBA
• Tableau/Power BI
• Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Alteryx or any other ETL tool
• Python & Statistics preferred.

Your Experience:

• Any Graduate/Postgraduate with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Analytics, financial modeling, and reporting skills
• Experience working with visualization and ETL tools.
• Strong communication skill is desired.
• Knowledge in Python & Statistics will be an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in multinational company / Healthcare Industry / manufacturing set up in Management Reporting carries weightage.
• Open to work on different shifts depending on process requirement.
