Description POSITION NAME: Global Transportation Operations Analyst DIVISION OR CORPORATE FUNCTION: Corporate Global Transportation Ops REVISION DATE: 3rd Oct 2022 LOCATION: India REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Supply Chain Services PRIMARY PURPOSE: Pr Provide global operation support in the areas of transportation management activities which include proactive management of shipment milestones performance and resolve issues or escalation promptly process, analyze and resolve global transportation data from various sources such as SAP, Infor Nexus and Forwarders reports. Also create different reports for analysis and visualize using market available BI tools. The individual is also requiring supporting various transportation initiatives by working together with various plants logistics leads as well as other stakeholders. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensure quality and completeness in data submitted by the various sources (plants, forwarders, carriers etc) into Infor Nexus is according to required specifications. The individual needs to ensure all expected shipment data and invoice data to be captured in data lake. 2. Setup and monitor exceptions in AWS. The individual is required to ensure issues are identified at early stage of disruptions and take prompt measures to resolve the matter and notify the affected stakeholders. 3. Prepare, analyze and visualization of scheduled weekly, monthly transportation reports and dashboards. Process automations using different automation tools Ex: excel macro, Automation Anywhere, UI path etc.. 4. The individual will also facilitate as the first level of escalation support for transportation related matters and undertake prompt resolutions with the forwarders or carriers to minimize cost and impact to the affected parties. 5. Developing frequent transportation / logistics reporting in excel, BI tool and maintenance 6. Actively support the different process automation to improve the productivity 7. Support forwarder daily shipment report and invoicing issues review and resolution. 8. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. SCOPE: Global EDUCATION: REQUIRED: . Diploma / Bachelor degree in Transportation, Logistics or Business WORK EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: . Min 3-5 years of experience in a logistics function in a manufacturing environment PREFERRED: . Prefer the individual to have experience in international transportation and logistics. SKILLS & ABILITIES: REQUIRED: . PC Skills: All Microsoft applications with expertise in Excel, Access, Power BI tool or Tableau . Experience in developing data modeling, data structuring for reporting in excel and BI tool . Working knowledge in AWS, working knowledge in ETL tool. Experience with SAP TM module, SAP Business Warehouse . Meticulous, proven analytical and problem-solving skills . Demonstrated experience working cross functionally to drive change . Effective verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas and exchange information clearly and concisely across multiple cultures in multiple geographies . Understands functional processes and can navigate systems to extract needed data . Organization skills to anticipate, plan, organize and self-monitor workload PREFERRED: .
