Job Description


Analyst-Finance Control
The Analyst-Finance Control plays a key role in the SOX and audit coordination through continual testing of internal finance controls. This job assists with remediating gaps found through the testing process, while also working with external auditors to ensure the organization is compliant with SOX standards. Under close supervision, this job supports various efforts across the finance team, while also providing independent suggestions for potential improvements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Tests the design and operation effectiveness of internal finance controls.

  • Reports findings and/or gaps discovered through testing to management.

  • Works with internal and external auditors to provide requested information.

  • Partners with process owners to ensure business processes are adequately documented within narratives and flowcharts.

  • Assists with development of remediation plans to address internal control deficiencies and failures arising from testing process.

  • Proposes control changes including additions, deletions and modifications to ensure the best possible control SOX framework is active within the organization.

  • Assists in the preparation of the annual SOX audit plan based on internal risk assessment processes.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Tax Returns - Responsible for preparation and filing tax returns for company (TDS return, Tax Payments, Corporate Tax returns and GST returns)
  • Maintain and filing Tax Record and document
  • Issuance of Tax Certificate
  • Generation of TDS and TCS certificates
  • Manage monthly working for tax provisioning (current tax and deferred tax); including periodic advance tax workings.
  • Tax and TP Assessments/Audits \xe2\x80\x93 Assist in preparing and collating require information, documents etc for submissions before tax authorities for tax assessments/ audits/SCNs (Corporate tax and GST)
  • Transfer Pricing (TP) - Responsible to collect required documents in connection with preparation of TP Study Report.
  • Collaborate and align with Finance Teams to support business
  • Co-ordinate with Tax Auditors and Tax Advisors
  • To handle regular coordination with consultants on various tax matters as well as responsible for preparation of various Tax MIS on monthly basis
  • Be a self-learner with the changing tax laws impacting business and prepare Tax Updates (Corporate Tax and GST).


Requirements
  • CA/ semi qualified CA/ Graduate
  • Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in managing taxes function.
  • Experience in GST matters and use of tax technology tools will be an added advantage.
  • Software skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.).
  • Should be technically strong with Direct/Indirect tax.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous
  • Independent worker who can work well with minimal supervision.
