• 2.5 \xe2\x80\x93 5 Years of experience to be a part of Database administrator team with proficiency in Oracle DB (Primary) and good to have exposure to SQL DB
• Working with Senior DBAs for administration, maintenance, performance, security and availability of Oracle databases.
• Perform database upgrades and patching for Oracle databases
• Support of application and upgrade database (Database Migration/ upgrade) from existing Oracle versions to latest Oracle Server versions
• Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to minimize downtime
• Accountable for timely delivery of high-quality technical deliverables from own team
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with peer DBAs and application/infra teams.
• Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Document database environments. Maintain records of database configurations, permissions, backups, and other details.
• Should be flexible to support Nightly batch/On-call/Weekend Upgrades, Implementations and rostered Night shift if required.

• I Design and development delivery within projects that is efficient, functional, and maintainable.
• Apply analysis skills to understand and assess the impact of infrastructure and technical changes within the environment.
• I will create required design and development documentation and participate in both design and code reviews.
• I understand the software requirements and ensure it\xe2\x80\x99s translated into good quality production - ready code basis provided design & instructions.
• I understand the defined scope and timelines and deliver quality deliverable within the estimated time.
• I attend and actively participate in the team ceremonies.

• TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Working knowledge of Oracle database and related components.
• Working knowledge on SQL and PL/SQL
• Database Maintenance/ Support tasks and lower level monitoring using tools like profiler, DMV, Perfmon
• Knowledge of clustering, Always on / multi node clusters at the time of DR process.
• Understanding of system tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers & SQL tuning
• PowerShell scripting to automate DBA related tasks. Ability to understand existing automated tasks and tweak/troubleshoot them.
• General troubleshooting like assisting clients with various issues related to connectivity, permissions, access, distributed queries issues, suggesting solutions, best practices etc.
• Experience with ETL tools such as PowerCenter Informatica using Crystal and WEBI reporting.
• Experience with data integration tools like DataStage, PowerCenter Informatica.
• Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Server installations and patching.
• AWS cloud experience (EC2, EMR, S3, Kinesis, Dynamo, API (Application Programming Interface) Gateway & LAMDA)
