Job Description

The primary role is to support the Global Eaton Business for Optimization Projects in Materials team. This individual will support the Global Materials team through data gathering, analysis, building and maintaining optimization models, The scope is further extended to developing new Supply chain processes and horizontal deployment of best practices. The role will primarily focus on optimization but shall also encompass aspects of overall Materials Management for Industrial Manufacturing. The individual should have good general understanding of Materials Management and SCM concepts. Person has to deal cross functionally with multiple functions including planning, sales, production, finance and leadership team.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in Supply chain analytics and optimization.
• Good understanding of data modeling, optimization techniques. Knowledge on Heuristic algorithms.
• Should be PG in Supply chain/Optimization /AI/ML/Data modeling
• Good coding skills in Python and R
• Deep understanding of advance operations research techniques, tools and assets
• Should have worked on projects using Pulp, SciPy libraries in Python
• Working experience in data visualization tool like Power BI/Tableau
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills
• Strong ethics, values, and the ability to influence others’ decision making.
• Knowledge of AI/ML will be added advantage
• Proficient skills level in MS Office: Excel (Formulas, Filtering, Charts, Pivot, V-lookup, Conditional Formatting), word and Power Point presentati
