For this specific role, the onsite working requirement is one day a week, which is a role-based exception due to the requirements of the role. Introduction:

The candidate will be part of the US Credit Trading Team working for the US High Yield desk. The US High Yield desk trades in Non-Investment Grade Bonds and CDS including Distressed securities and Loans in the US market.

What will you be doing?

o Provide Analytical support to the US Leveraged Finance desk which includes the US High Yield Flow, Special Situations & Loans desks
o Take ownership of all desk reporting activities and adhoc analytical requirements that involve traders\xe2\x80\x99 Market activity, RFQ analytics, P&L reporting, Volume analytics, etc.
o Provide Relative Valuation analysis to the desks which includes trade ideas and credit analysis
o Demonstrate product knowledge of Bonds and CDS and develop desk reports
o Work closely with several cross-functional teams across the globe in order to execute desk projects
o Liaise with the Technology team to create, amend & automate desk reports

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

o CFA / FRM preferred
o Education in Finance or Economics preferred
o Experience of quantitative analysis of market data and strong analytical skills
o Experience of Python or R
o Knowledge of Advanced Excel including VBA
o Excellent communication skills (oral/written)

Skills that will help you in the role:

o Good understanding of Financial markets with focus on fixed income.
o Aptitude for self-learning \xe2\x80\x93 Should be able to demonstrate a self-starting attitude
o Flexible to work long hours (when required), meet deadlines and be proactive
o Ability to prioritize and manage large projects and take full ownership of assigned tasks.
o Proactive in nature. Should be able to take decisions and support those.
o Should be a Team player
