Job Description
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) 1) Good amount of experience in AIX 5,6,7 OS Versions 2) Knowledge on AIX Virtualization techniques (LPAR/WPAR/VIOS/DLPAR) 3) AIX patching/package management for all versions 4) Hardware knowledge and remote troubleshooting skills 5) HACMP Cluster, LVM, VxVM 6) Must have Linux or Solaris as a secondary skill set 7) Knowledge on Physical/Virtual Server migration (P2V/V2V/P2P) 8) DR and BMR recovery procedure 9) HMC and IVM knowledge 10) Build new LPAR/VIO/WAPR servers in Power machines 11) Managing WPAR servers (configure/install/boot/delete/migrate) 12) OS troubleshooting, performance tuning, analyzing issue and providing RCA 1) DR and BMR recovery procedure 2) Work experience on IBM, Oracle (T7,T5,S7), Blade Servers 3) Tools - Opscenter, vSphere, Zabbix, xymon 4) Having knowledge in OS migration from one flavor to another flavor 5) Oracle Private Cloud Appliance experience Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent Salary: From 997,852.28 per year Schedule:
