Job Description

Production Management

Oversee day-to-day airjet loom operations Ensure production targets (meters/day, efficiency) are achieved Minimize loom stoppages and downtime
2. Loom Performance & Efficiency

Monitor airjet loom efficiency and fabric quality Optimize machine settings (air pressure, pick insertion, timing) Reduce air consumption and operational costs
3. Quality Control

Ensure fabric quality meets required standards Control weaving defects (stop marks, weft breaks, oil stains, air marks) Coordinate with QA for fabric inspection and corrective actions
4. Manpower Management

Allocate and supervise operators, fitters, and helpers Train operators on loom handling, safety, and efficiency improvement Maintain discipline and shift planning
5. Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance Ensure timely loom servicing and spare parts availability Reduce mechanical and electronic faults
6. Process Control

Ensure proper warp and weft preparation for smooth running Coordinate with warping, sizing, and weft departments Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
7. Cost & Resource Control

Control air, power, and spare consumption Reduce waste, loom idle time, and rejection levels
8. Safety & Compliance

Ensure safety practices are followed on the shop floor Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards Comply with labor and factory regulations
9. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily production and efficiency reports Analyze breakdown causes and corrective actions Report KPIs to senior management
10. Continuous Improvement

Implement process improvements and new weaving techniques Support trials for new fabric styles and yarns Drive productivity and quality improvement initiatives

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
