Overview:
The individual will be a member of the product development team as a mechanical
design engineer for the rotary screw compressor portfolio. Responsibilities include all aspects of
the development process for a given compressor. This engineer must have the ability to multitask but detailed oriented, communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced dynamic
environment. Responsibilities:

\xef\x82\xb7 Lead and manage design and engineering efforts for assigned NPD and VAVE screw air
compressor projects. \xef\x82\xb7
Verifies designs through calculations / computer aided modeling methods / analysis. \xef\x82\xb7
Create / improve product design data as required (3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of
Material, etc.) \xef\x82\xb7
Identify project related risks and work out mitigation plans. \xef\x82\xb7
Support design reviews with cross-functional team. \xef\x82\xb7
Work independently, or as a member of a team. \xef\x82\xb7
Responsible for multiple projects with varying scope and/or complexity. \xef\x82\xb7
Ensure project milestones and deliverables with agreed Quality, Delivery, Project cost
and Product cost for all phases of project. \xef\x82\xb7
Collaborate with peers from different teams and external resources to drive project for
completion Qualifications:
BE or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Full time course preferable) Skills:

• \xef\x82\xb7 Strong in Engineering basics and Manufacturing principles. \xef\x82\xb7
  Strong in product design fundamentals at both a component and a system level. \xef\x82\xb7
  Experience in structural, skid, and part design. \xef\x82\xb7
  Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, drafting, GD&T. PTC Creo experience is mandatory. \xef\x82\xb7
  Proficiency in using and maintaining engineering data in an ERP system
  (Windchill/SAP). \xef\x82\xb7
  Knowledge of design and manufacturing principles, with preferred experience in
  machining, casting, fabrication. \xef\x82\xb7
  Excellent visualization & conceptualization skills. \xef\x82\xb7
  Demonstrated ability to solve problems and to make timely decisions with sound
  judgement. \xef\x82\xb7
  Ability to work well in a team environment, to take direction, and to direct the work of
  others. \xef\x82\xb7
  Ownership mindset, one who can lead the project and work with cross function team,
  suppliers, and clients to maintain project goal on specified time. \xef\x82\xb7
  Proactive, self-motivating with ability to develop own priorities.

Desired Skills:
Experience in industries related to Compressors, Blowers, Pumps, Turbines, Generators,
Oil & Gas, Machine building, or any industries involving large industrial equipment. \xef\x82\xb7
Familiarity using DFMEA, DFMA methodology. \xef\x82\xb7
Previous experience must lie in Industrial / Commercial Product Manufacturing as an
engineer developing, releasing, and improving products. \xef\x82\xb7
Working in global project teams. Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma or GTTC \xef\x82\xb7
  4-6 years of Industrial experience.
