The Salesperson will be part of the Atlas Copco - Industrial Air Division within Compressor Technique.

He will be working as field sales required to develop the sales and ensure right business development activities, will be required to achieve the monthly targets and be able to define forecasts in alignment with the IAT Divisional Strategy.

The Salesperson will ensure a full coverage of our customers and distributors in assigned territory in and adjoining areas of Mumbai.

Mission

  • The candidate is expected to work independently in his assigned territory.
  • To identify new customers for our Industrial Air range of products in the assigned territory.
  • Meeting our existing customers to understand and access their current and future requirement for maintaining 100% customer share.
  • Working in close coordination with our dealers in assigned territory to achieve desired results and sales objectives. And adding new channels of distribution based on market potential as per IAT divisional strategy.
  • Developing good relationships, networking and be able to liaise with OEM, EPC contractors, Engineering Consultants to promote Industrial Air division products.
  • Hold product presentations for all kind of customers.
  • Responsible for market share growth & volume growth.
  • Develop sound technical acumen & possess good knowledge in commercial terms and conditions.
  • Reporting - All reporting will be through SAP based C4C
  • Gathering market intelligence in the assigned territory and report regularly to management for any special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and evaluation of competition developments.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards (The way we do things), while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

What we expect of you?

Should have relevant minimum 3 - 4 years of sales experience and having good product / Application knowledge on compressed air solutions.

Should have worked closely with engineering consultants to understand, develop and design compressed air solutions based on customer requirement.

Good IT skills, and desire to learn and adopt new systems.

Strong interpersonal skills, Ability to express himself & communicate transparently within and outside of the organisation.

Knowledge/Educational requirements

Graduate, B.E/B.Tech Degree,

Candidate having a post graduate qualification in Management will have added advantage.

Personality requirements

A customer-centric & dynamic individual who understands customers\' needs and seeks to fulfil or exceed expectations.

A team player who interacts and collaborates with team members, customers, all stakeholders

A Sales Engineer who comes with solutions to make things happen and who can translate his mission into strategy, turn the strategy into actions.

Strong Interpersonal skills, Go-getter & Lead by example.

Should be prepared to travel,60-70%.
Be able to take fast decisions in the VUCA environment.
