The Role

  • Analyze and develop a sustainable 3 year Industrial gases sales growth action plan which you will implement and required actions to meet the targeted revenue (10% of IAT INK NIS) and profitability (
45%) in next 3 years. * Work closely with BLM , Marketing and division product manager to define the Business plan for Growing IG business with a long term strategy and clear structure to achieve the plan.
  • Facilitate the sales through all sales channels towards growth , becoming more sustainable and profitable.
  • Collaborate with all stake holders to ensure healthy ecosystem and actively engage to create conditions of success to grow the Industrial gases business and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and suggest a long term plan(organic & inorganic) to increase reach, profitability and market share for Industrial gas business in India & Nepal.
  • Work on application based approach to increase sales. Share , learn and adapt best practices to increase the knowledge on various applications and replicate the success of other customer centers .
  • Define the basics of the business for the IGs portfolio and facilitate the team to do the basics brilliantly while demonstrating the same in this profile. Prepare Gantt chart for the sales actions and follow the progress through the same to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the actions.
  • Sustainability : Prepare and propose long term plan , for the assigned role , keeping sustainability in focus and keeping all stakeholders in mind. Propose and prepare processes to maintain perpetuity and strong governance on the sales process.
  • Market intelligence
- Identify potential market segments

- Generate and analyse data about competition

- Closely track & collect data for assigned competitors

- Prepare the sales strategy and tools in order to have proactive sales approach.
  • Provide necessary inputs on competition and customer needs to develop products suiting market needs.

This position requires minimum 15 years of experience in Industrial Gases business with variety of applications.

Knowledge/Educational requirements

Good understanding of the market and competition with latest global trends in the field of related products. Diverse applications and segment knowledge will be an adavnatge.

Business Ownership, Technical Product Expertise, Finance Skills, Marketing Skills, Effective

Communication Skills, Leadership, Team Player, Sales and Negotiation Skills, Business

acumen, Managing the Business, IT Skills , Knowledge of tools like Power BI.
