At Ciena, we are looking for a highly motivated AI & Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale intelligent solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. This remote role, based in Gurgaon, offers an exciting opportunity to work with platforms like Moveworks and Microsoft Copilot, integrating AI tools seamlessly into enterprise workflows. How you'll make an impact:

• Design and implement AI-driven automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Moveworks, or other relevant platforms.
• Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and document use cases with clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and scalability considerations.
• Integrate AI tools with enterprise applications such as ServiceNow, Snowflake, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, HR, and legal systems for end-to-end automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and operations, to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to security, compliance, and data privacy standards.
• Monitor and optimize deployed solutions for performance, reliability, and user adoption.

The must haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in AI, automation, or related technology development roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Moveworks, or similar AI platforms.
• Proficiency with workflow automation tools, such as Power Automate, UiPath, or ServiceNow automation.
• Knowledge of API integrations, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and basic programming concepts.
• Understanding of generative AI concepts, large language models (LLMs), and AI-driven analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
