Job Purpose :
The primary responsibility is to enable the unit plan and achieve profitability, maintain controls over cost and inventory and partner in creating sustainable growth strategies for the Unit.
The job holder:

• Taking lead in Costing sections and ensures financial reporting, Management reporting
• Handling Complex transactions of HIC, Product development, Oil Supplies etc.
• Provide decision support to the Senior Management and monitor performance of the Unit.
• Work on the financial modelling for the Unit's Budgeting exercise.
• Assisting on Project Management for various upcoming projects including PLI (Production Linked Incentive scheme) by sharing inputs to authorities.
• SPOC for Unit's inputs to Corporate on various requirements such as ADD and Safeguard Duty.
• SPOC for PLI (Production Linked Incentive scheme) inputs to authorities.
• SPOC for Unit's Ekayaan Costing implementation

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
Supporting Actions
Metal accounting : Existing operations as well as Coating line

• Mapping of Metal accounting for Exisiting as well as New projects.
• To control over Inventory
• Timely Physical verification of Inventory

Audits, Compliances and inputs to authorities

• Complying with Statutory, Internal and Cost audit requirement.
• To ensure accuracy in Notes to accounts
• To ensure all Government & Statutory compliances are followed including for the new projects
• Working with consultants and corporate finance team for various initiatives of the Government such as imposing Safeguard Duty
• Defending the Anti Dumping Duty imposed by USA
• Compliances required for PLI schemes.

Finance & Accounts

• Implementation and consolidation of accounting for the unit including upcoming projects
• Ensure accounting systems and controls are put in place and implemented for all new projects and consolidation with existing facilities.
• To ensure that all the accounts are prepared in accordance with Ind AS/IFRS and also as per standard practices confirming HO guidelines.
• To coordinate with Corporate accounts to implement any changes in INDAS/IFRS, Company's Law or CARO requirement
• To ensure timely monthly finalization of accounts.
• Leading a team for financial accounting including implementation of INDAS/IFRS, handling accounts payables, GL scrutiny and reconciliation statements & finalization of accounts

Costing & MIS

• To implement ERP system for projects
• To implement product costing for new projects and merging it with existing system.
• To Evaluate and present the costing MIS with variance analysis including MBR / QBR
• To Evaluate and present product costing and benchmarking with sister Units
• To present projection of EBITDA & Cost of production
• Monitoring EBITDA at plant level and comparison with sister units along with profit bridge

Financial Planning & Analysis and Decision Support

• Formulating annual budgets
• Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and taking corrective actions.

Undertaking financial analysis, scenario analysis and forecasting periodically - forecasting plant profitability based on Order for the month.
Internal Financial Control

• Recommending the Internal Financial Control (IFCR) risks and developing test scripts for General ledger

People Development

• Developing existing team members and new joinees
• Planning & implementation of job rotation of existing members within the departmental activities
