Job Purpose

To deliver budgeted plan of Optical Fiber cable roll out for the Circle within time frame , so as to meet the network requirements for business , by close coordination and interaction with all relevant stakeholders



Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Completion of Optical Fiber rollout as per business needs between locations including Last mile connectivity , and fiber readiness to POP locations , by regular interaction with the Vendors , IRU providers , and other internal stakeholders
• Completion of Survey , BOQ , Material planning for Capex approved scope , timely PR , and follow up with Commercial for timely PO release
• Understanding of various ROW permission policies and process in the Circle for various authorities and Coordinating with concerned stakeholders to get those permissions in time , to enable execution on field
• Interaction with Zonal Team members to drive the work at field , to meet targets
• End to end Project monitoring from the Budget allotment to work completion including interaction for timely GRN
• Continuous tracking and Management reporting of Project progress on a regular basis to Central team
• Vendor development for all Fiber project related activities
• Facilitate the execution of Small cell/WIFI Fiber & PoP deployment
• HSW compliance as per VIL norms & Compliance of all statutory requirements

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• Experience to interact with the various functional teams at Circles effectively
• Ability to ensure implementation of various governance models & policies as per corporate guidelines
• Strong experience in driving the Vendors and internal Team members , towards achieving the deliverables
• Ability to make timely decisions for smooth flow of project

Must have technical / professional qualifications

• Engineering graduate in Electronics and Communication
• Experience in working in Optical Fiber cable rollout projects
