Role SME Fiber Planning Job Level/ Designation AGM - Fiber Planning Lead (M2) Function / Department Tech FIBER - COG Location Hyderabad Job Purpose Responsible for PAN India OWN & IRU fiber planning, budgeting and capex approval as per AOP. End to end route planning mobility and enterprise business. GIS based route planning to optimize cost of delivery for mobility & enterprise. IRU route finalization planning and signoff along with other operators Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Responsible for annual Capex & Opex forecast and control. Optimal utilization of Fiber Capex to deliver best in class and scalable fiber infrastructure with resiliencies to ensure high standard network uptime. Developing, onboarding and Operationalization of IRU partners to deliver additional fiber requirements of VIL. Responsible for annual Capex & route replacement capex forecast and control. Optimal utilization of Fiber Capex to deliver best in class and scalable fiber infrastructure with resiliencies to ensure high standard network uptime. Digitize fiber assets by onboarding GIS tool and route mapping. Ensure all routes are having necessary local bodies\' permissions and approval. Work closely with regional and circle Fiber planning leads, finance and SCM function to deliver VIL objectives. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience Understanding of Fiber & Transport Network Architecture and updated on latest technologies including various modules and key components of network. Able to communicate efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders Sound understanding of Capex & Opex and budgetary skills to derive best out of NW at lowest possible cost. Commercial and legal understanding for closure of contract and agreements with IRU partners to get better KPIs and cost factor advantage.
