Role Description

Role Description: Deputy Manager/Manager - Delivery Excellence Function

The ideal candidate is a practicing Lead/Manager, responsible for working with enterprise-wide, cross-functional strategic initiatives. The person interacts with functional/business unit leadership to craft a delivery management strategy that aligns with business objectives and priorities and is responsible for developing a robust and flexible project and program methodology for use throughout the organization.

Role and responsibilities

• Measure and Improve - Analyze project metrics and KPI\'s, perform benchmark assessments and recommendations, design Early Warning System to ensure relevant project risks are made visible and mitigated
• Project Performance Reporting - Enhance management visibility of project\'s performance by publishing project health dashboards to key stakeholders like BU Heads, CDO and CEO
• Setup project processes and practices - Helps setup processes for new projects and shapes practices for existing projects so that the Organization wide project management practices evolve and become uniform
• Creating Project Management toolkits - Create and maintain a robust Project Management Toolkit to drive consistency and effectiveness in our project management practices. Responsible for designing and developing new approaches to project management
• Implementation of Best Practices - Create and share solid, repeatable practices based on project successes. Drive end to end implementation of strategic initiatives (e.g., implementing programs like agile best practices), and other such programs that enhances delivery capability and outcomes for our clients.

Technical skills requirements
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,

• 6-8 years of Industry experience of which 3-5 years should be managing mid to large size software development projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies
• Project/program management skills
• Knowledge of Lean, Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled), Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies
• Agile certification is an added advantage
• Well versed with JIRA and ALM tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of work experience in systems or application development
• B.Tech. or MCA degree from a reputed university
