About the Role

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that cash is available at all times in the SST terminals. He / She has to maintain optimum levels of cash in the SSTs so that a balance is maintained between the cash availability and idle cash. Will be responsible for tracking the locations where cash availability is affected and take up with internal and external stakeholders to correct the cash position. Should proactively manage vaulting requirements as per the dynamic changes in the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Team related : Teller team training and reiteration
• "Adherence to process & control requirements -\xef\xbf\xbd Counterfeit, high cash transactions, WAU accounts, sanction screening,\xef\xbf\xbd signature verification of all instructions/cheques, intraday teller limit,etc.
• Processes Implementation\xef\xbf\xbd & execution, Maintaining Key & combination, Batch review, RMU Hands off, Cash cap Sheet, Student File, Standing Instruction File, Bait/Hold Up Money File, Clearing Hands off,
• Ensure all legal, compliance, regulatory requirements are complied with.
• "Review and Reconciliation :
• a. Daily proofing of accounts
• b. Adherence to cash limits across teller counter and Vault.
• c. Periodic audit / review of files and safe keeping of batches to ensure nil finding.
• d.Cash balancing at end of day which includes the preparation of the teller blotter sheet, MIS & preparation of reports like Stop payment, Heavy cash, MIFT, Address change, Multiple cheque bounce, etc
• "Cash operation related :
• a. Transaction authorization with 100% accuracy.
• b. Ensuring branch BAU with smooth cash replenishment, Annual cash count, Servicing of cash count machine and NSM.
• c. Ensuring cash counters and leave management of tellers for smooth function of cash operation desk.
• d. Nil escalations related to delay in transaction execution (non-cash)
• e. Timely archival of teller batches.
• f. Nil overage / shortage
• g. Managing Cash within allotted limits.
• h. Adherence of cash desk timing as per regulatory guidelines"
• Drive NPS@90% - Provide strong service culture to improve service quality & create superior customer service. Drive client excellence through Net Promoter Score.
• Ensuring nil audit observations
• Execution of error free LCY transactions such as - cash deposits/ cash withdrawals, TIDE liquidation, draft issuances, in house transfers, draft cancellations, maintenances such as address change, cheque book & deposit slip issuance, PAN updation & stop payments
• Managing PINS & cheque books as custodians if applicable.
• Handling secured stationary such as DD & other misc. stationary.

Qualifications

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

\xef\xbf\xbd Graduation/ Post graduation from a recognized institute

\xef\xbf\xbd 5-7 years\xef\xbf\xbd experience in the relevant field
