Tech Publications Responsibilities:

• Strong ability to understand and interpret the engineering drawings such as Part Drawing, Assembly Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, Fitting Instruction Drawings, Whole Engine 3D Models.
• Experience in Technical documentation process like information gathering, planning, content specification, content development, implementation and evaluation.
• Detailed investigation of Design and Engineering documents to create the content for manuals.
• Having good knowledge and exposure to Aircraft Structure, Aircraft systems, Engines and repairs & overhaul practices.
• Engineering Services, Technical Authoring and Publications (IPDP, AMP, ASRP, CMP, SRP, and NDT).
• Good knowledge on ATA 100 and S1000D standards
• Knowledge on the technical publication mark-up languages such as SGML and XML.

Tech Publication Requirements:

• Creation and revision of Aerospace Manuals such as Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Engine Manual (EM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Split Engine Transportation Manual (SETM), Power plant Build-Up Manual (PPBUM), Check & Repair Manual (CRM), Cleaning Inspection & Repair Manual (CIR).
• Revision of Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) such as Engine Illustrated Parts Catalogue (EIPC), Power plant Illustrated Parts Catalogue (PIPC), Airframe Illustrated Parts Catalogue (AIPC)
• Strong knowledge on Technical Publications Aerospace Standards like ATA SPEC 100 / ISPEC2200 and S1000D
• Ability to interpret complex Engineering drawings, Repair graphics, and manufacturer's specifications for varied ranges of aircrafts
• Creating/updating documents as per the inputs from client for a variety of end users that includes Removal Instructions, Installation Instructions and Periodic Maintenance Checklist.
• Authoring of Modification's (MPM), Service bulletin (SB) and Customer Originated Change (COC) jobs

Tools:

• Experienced with Authoring Tools like Adobe Framemaker, Arbortext Editor, XML/SGML, SAP & MS Office.
• Basic exposure with illustration tools like Isodraw and Tech Illustrator
