Job Title Advisor, Quality Assurance Engineering

Primary Skills and Job responsibilities for Quality Assurance (QA):

The Quality Assurance (QA) are responsible for quality standards and procedures, quality assessment of SDLC artifacts; software test planning (customer), software testing, test cycle management. Design, automation/development, implementation, and measurement of quality techniques and standards related to the quality of and adherence to conformity of products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Testing Experience with good understanding of Software Test Lifecycle including Test strategy, Test Planning, Test Cases Design, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, Test log, Test results, Test Traceability Matrix and Test Metrics.
• Good Understanding of Loans & Deposits Functionality.
• Ability to drive requirement & their reviews along with BA
• Ability to clearly create Test Case documents based on functional requirements.
• Hands on experience on Functional and Systems Testing
• Identify and assess potential defects and report them in defect management tool
• Provide regular updates on progress of allocated Test designs and Test cases to ensure Testing deadlines are met.
• Conduct peer reviews of test condition/test cases/test data requirements created by testers and follow-up to close the review comments
• Assist in achieving a good level of teamwork, highlighting and controlling issues in good time and proactively suggesting solutions to resolve problems
• Exposure to interact with client and BU partner
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and issue resolution skills

Position Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science and/or related field required. Equivalent work experience may be substituted. Job Related Experience:

• 10-12 years of experience as a Bankers or as a Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of the financial domain.
• Signature experience or front/end application systems experience like Architect, Aperio, Connected Teller, COASP etc

Functional Area Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of various technologies, including but not limited to, mainframe (iSeries preferred), client/server, and/or web-based.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies such as Rational Unified Process (RUP) and/or Waterfall Methodology.
• Knowledge of MS Visio or UML modeling tools a plus
• Analytical skills to assess client business need, identify solutions, and manage requirements across multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
• Active listening skills to understand what people say and document those statements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Creative problem solving skills.
• Strong self-motivation with excellent time management skills, including ability to work on time sensitive projects to meet deliverables by expected due date.
