Positions Overview

Diebold Nixdorf is seeking an experienced analyst for our HR People Insights team to optimize workforce metrics dashboards, complete frequent analyses to provide insights into employee movement trends and provide analytical support to HR teams.

Reporting to the Director of HR Workforce Analytics within HR Technology, the employee will regularly update existing Workforce Metrics Dashboards utilizing Power BI and Alteryx, as well as create new content. The analyst will work closely with internal customers to gather business requirements and create logic to build data models and visualizations. The analyst will be able to create content and host training related to Workforce Analytics. This employee will be a subject matter expert on DN data and skilled in excel, Power BI and Alteryx. The analyst will act as a functional owner for Workforce Metrics dashboards, creating and maintain security access profiles and training new users. The analyst will also support other workforce analytics projects; trouble shooting, testing, and optimization as necessary. an inquisitive mind. The right candidate will have an inquisitive mind, be excited about finding data as an answer to the unknown, and willing to independently learn new skills to make our existing processes better.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintain HR dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate key HR metrics, trends, and progress towards HR goals. Ensure data accuracy, relevance, and timeliness in all activities.
  • Optimizing and scaling existing data workflows in Alteryx utilizing reporting from DN\'s HR system.
  • Documenting metric logic through data dictionaries and training users on the correct usage of the data.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and advancements in HR analytics. Identify opportunities to enhance HR data collection methods, reporting tools, and analytical techniques to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the HR function.
  • Gathering requirements from various stakeholders concerning HR and recruiting data, including opportunities to automate and produce meaningful insight from data.
  • Analyze existing and new data sources and new systems and tools to enable the teams to consume and understand data more intuitively.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses and reports on an as needed basis
  • Work with Director or HR Workforce Analytics to enhance and deploy new analytics capabilities in support of the broader mission to democratize data and analytics assets within the HR & Corporate Functions domains.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics or similar.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (ex: Data Analytics, data modeling, HR, HR Information Systems, Reporting).
  • 1 + years of experience in Workforce Analytics
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) preferably Oracle.
  • You are an expert in Power BI and Alteryx, have advanced excel skills and you\'re excited about learning other technologies.
  • Excellent business English skills (written and spoken)
  • Ability to engage productively with a wide range of program stakeholders, including business leads, customers, technical design/delivery teams and project managers.
  • Ability to leverage business knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to determine an appropriate course of action in challenging, ambiguous situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of relevant experience (ex: Data Analytics, HR, HR Information Systems, Reporting).
  • Experience with Qualtrics.
  • Experience migrating Alteryx workflows to Alteryx server.
  • Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT business processes.
  • Experience in headcount management, people operations, recruiting, or HR.
  • Experience in developing workforce demand models or optimization models based on key inputs.
  • Experience telling a story using data and extracting key insights, helping stakeholders drive action.
