About the Department Global IT India is a team of 700+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of Global IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. The Position As an Advance Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for defining, building and operation of Backup and Data protection service and provide technical operational support globally for PSnet (Product Supply IT). You will proactively engage in close dialogue with the IT architects, IT specialists and stakeholders across PSnet including Production facilities and Datacenters globally to create and improve awareness on the technical deliveries of all the IT Infrastructure and IT Security support services to meet business expectations.While your main responsibility revolves around technical operational support & Data Protection, you will also be expected to contribute your sound technical expertise, proficient stakeholder management and communication skills to deliver High Quality user focus and innovative initiatives that is a significant aspect of the job. The key responsibilities will be: To perform Incident, Change and Problem Management in alignment with scaled Agile framework as a delivery team member. You will work as a technical consultant during Major Incident and Critical outages for PSnet Backup Infrastructure issues reported globally thereby enabling fast and optimal project execution according to roll-out plans. To manage Daily operations & Technical support in the IT Infrastructure area for PSnet, liaising, audits, and compliance levels as per Novo Nordisk norms. Involve in the design and implementation of large-scale IT Infrastructure and IT Security projects. You will participate in roadmap for relevant technologies and processes, incorporating needs for local differences and recommend project proposals and service improvements at management meetings. You will be responsible for efficient handling of O&M activities. Act as a technical escalation point to highlight areas of concerns or complaints from PSnet IT teams to the IT Infrastructure vendors and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are in place. Qualifications Master's degree or relevant technology experience with high level technical certifications (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration). 10+ years of experience working within IT Infrastructure Operations & Technical Services. 8+ years working with Net Back up & Net Appliances and good knowledge & experience in Infrastructure qualification, Compliance requirements in pharmaceutical industry. GxP knowledge will be an advantage. Professional level certifications in Backup and Data protection operational support. Hands-on experience in trouble-shooting Backup issues in tandem with network/Application/Windows Operating system issues. Experience supporting CFR 21 Part 11 validated systems is preferred. Good understanding and work experience in Physical and Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments, storage devices (EMC Data domain, EMC Isilon). Good understanding of working with vaulting, storage unit management and VMware query-based backups. Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, AD, DNS, SMTP, NTP, IMAP and SNMP. Demonstrate good analytical and communication skills. Ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external at all levels.
