The Position
As an Advanced Operations Analyst II, you will be responsible for define, build and operation of Backup and Data protection service and provide Technical operational support globally for PSnet (Product Supply IT). You need to be proactive in engaging in close dialogue with the IT architects, IT specialists and stakeholders across PSnet including Production facilities and Datacenters globally to create and improve awareness on the technical deliveries of all the IT Infrastructure and IT Security support services to meet business expectations. You will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Operations and maintenance of Production environment for Backup and Data protection service.
• Ensure a standardized IT infrastructure platform for Backup and Data protection service.
• Recommend and present project proposals and service improvements at management meetings (GITO India Management meetings and Steering Committees).
• Monitor the effectiveness of the IT Infrastructure Related Processes, SLA and to ensure continuous development and improvements in the patch management area.
• Efficient handling of O&M activities from an IT Infrastructure standpoint thereby assisting Product Supply IT (PS SVP Area IT Managers) within the Infrastructure operations area.

Qualifications

• You will be holding a bachelor's/master's degree in relevant subject with overall 6+ years of experience working within IT Infrastructure Operations & Technical Services along with hands-on Linux 8.3 and 9 version.
• 6+ years working with key stakeholders and decision makers outside India in a cross-functional, international environment.
• Work experience & good knowledge in Infrastructure qualification, Compliance requirements in Pharma industry, GxP knowledge, CFR 21 Part 11 validated systems will be an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in trouble-shooting Backup issues in tandem with Network/Application/Windows Operating system issues.
• Solid understanding and work experience with data restores and Backup procedures for multiple platforms with experience in Physical and Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments, storage devices (EMC Data domain, EMC Isilon).
• Solid understanding of working with vaulting, storage unit management and VMware query-based backups and various Networks.

The main role of Global IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.
