About the department The position is based in the Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI) area, part of Global IT Operations (GITO) - a department with 400+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our Cloud Services, Infrastructure Services, Operations, IT Support, Major Incident Management and Digital Workplace Services. The Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure is an area consisting of 100+ people in 10+ Product teams with highly skilled and dedicated employees. We have a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, and we work in a truly global setup with colleagues located all over the world. In C&CI we are globally responsible for all Novo Nordisk Cloud (Private and Public), and Corporate Infrastructure (Network and Connectivity) Services. The Position As an Architect, you will be responsible mainly for the Advisory, Architecting and Operation Support of the cloud services in terms of building roadmap, evaluating the future, supporting service managers, and helping in continuous service improvements. Understand Global Stakeholders overall data estate, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions. You will additionally be responsible for: Provide technical consultancy on Public Cloud (Azure services) to Global stakeholders and system managers. Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a data modernization road map and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, orchestrating key resources and infusing key virtualization technologies. Be a Voice of Novo Nordisk to share insights and best practices, connect with various technology vendor teams to remove key blockers. Build and Maintain vendor relationships. Be a Cloud evangelist within Novo Nordisk, customers, partners and external communities. Research new virtualization/future technologies and support with POC\'s for stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in engineering, computer science (or equivalent) with overall 10+ years of experience in IT Industry. Experience Incident, Problem, Change within the ITIL framework and IT infrastructure and Operations. Experience in VMware based virtualization solutions. 4+ years in Azure based Public Cloud Services. Technical certifications in Azure are a plus.
