You will also generate innovative solutions and identify novel ways to solve customer problems and in pursuit of new business opportunities.
Job Title : Advanced Embedded Engineer
Job Expectations:

• You will be responsible for developing software requirements, design, code, test, and integrate real-time embedded software for avionics displays product line.
• Interact with Software lead and Systems Engineers to clarify requirements and work the high-level software design.
• Responsible to ensure the following – Optimization, Reduce Product Insertion cost, Rework cost and Reuse opportunities.
• Ensures design adheres to architecture, works with first-time right mindset to meet customer and human factors requirements.
• Identify technical design risks early-on and provide mitigation actions.
• Communicate effectively with functional leads/team members and other stakeholders to arrive a common architecture goal.

• Able to work with architects to take decisions on design level changes and translate them to detailed design documents and demonstrable software prototypes.
• Troubleshooting and fixing issues arising from Flight testing and Customer testing.
• Provide hands-on engineering support, mentor and groom engineers on the program and their technical career path.
• Be self-motivated towards developing and demonstrating new product features to support the business objectives.
• You will be a member of a cross-functional development team where communication and teaming skills are highly valued.

Skills Requirements:

• B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering

• Minimum 5-6 years of Real Time Embedded Software development experience using C/C++ on RTOS with expertise in graphics programming using OpenGL.

• Experience working on development of Primary and Navigation Flight displays. Working experience and knowledge in Avionics Displays product lines is preferred.

• Experience working in design, software development and performing peer reviews. Hands on experience on development of software Design requirements from Higher level specification.

• Expertise on embedded software debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Aerospace standards, Architecture principles, Coding standards and familiarity with DO178B/C.

• Working knowledge of Configuration management tools like DOORS/Dimensions/BitBucket/JIRA etc.

• Experience working on projects deploying Agile methodologies, strong team player with experience of working in a scrum team developing products incrementally in sprints.

• Good awareness of the business and technological opportunities and challenges.

• Must have excellent communication, collaboration and networking skills.
