The Position
As Advanced Business Analyst, you will build and develop test driven REST APIs for our application in Python/Flask. You will build integrations to other systems and databases by supporting the operations, both with DevOps tasks and bug fixes. In our team we work on Backend Web Development that includes test driven development, Python Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis and Front-end development that includes JavaScript, Typescript, React, and UX. The role as Advanced Business Analyst, you will also be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

• Assisting users with issues, troubleshoot complex interface related errors.
• Work closely with stakeholders and line of business to understand user requirements and system functionality.
• Update technical documents, attend team meetings, and actively participate in ideation of innovative solutions.
• Working on DevOps like AWS, Docker, GitHub, database administration, CI/CD, misc. monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant subject with 3-5 years of experience in Python web development (Flask, Django, Fast Api or similar).
• Experience working on SQL databases, preferably on a system writing to the database.
• Professional collaborative software engineering experience: Git, peer reviews, test-driven development.
• Experience in cloud platforms, CI pipelines (AWS) and Docker.
• Data integration knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Taking ownership of solutions and sharing ideas.
• Desire to work in a fully remote agile team helping users globally in all areas of Novo Nordisk.
• Personal traits include thriving with complicated problems, passionate to help, team player, good listener and wanted to work incrementally in a team where focus can change to bring most value to users.

About the department
Global IT India is a team of 700+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The position is anchored in LABs Delivery I department within Manufacturing IT GBS LABs (Laboratory Solutions). In LABs Delivery I department you will be part of a highly engaged team. You will be part of a team managing operation, maintenance, and development of the NN Planner system, including system corrections and releases as well as the support process.

We are building an advanced automatic planning application called NN Planner. It provides planning, execution follow-up, and assists internal coordination within QC laboratories, QA departments and production support teams. The application already integrates data from globalLIMS (our laboratory inventory management system) and Outlook.
