Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Affordable Housing Loans 
 Location: [Insert Region - e.g., South India, North Region, etc.] 
 Reports To: Zonal Sales Head / National Sales Head 
Job Summary: 
 The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) - Affordable Housing Loans is responsible for leading, managing, and expanding the affordable housing loan business across a designated region. The RSM will be accountable for achieving sales targets, driving business growth, developing distribution channels, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory policies. 
Key Responsibilities: 
 Sales Strategy & Execution 
 Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies to achieve business targets for affordable housing loans. 
 Monitor and manage the performance of branches and field sales teams. 
 Drive lead generation, conversions, and cross-selling of other financial products. 
 Team Management 
 Recruit, train, and lead a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Branch Managers, and Direct Sales Executives (DSEs). 
 Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions. 
 Foster a high-performance culture through motivation and goal setting. 
 Market & Channel Development 
 Identify and develop new markets, affordable housing projects, and partnerships. 
 Establish and grow relationships with developers, DSAs, connectors, and other channel partners. 
 Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategy. 
 Operations & Risk Management 
 Ensure adherence to credit, risk, and documentation processes across the region. 
 Collaborate with the credit and operations team for seamless disbursement and turnaround times. 
 Minimize NPAs through proactive risk identification and resolution. 
 Compliance & Reporting 
 Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines (including NHB/RBI norms), and audit requirements. 
 Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market feedback, and operational issues. 
Key Requirements: 
 Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred. 
 Experience: 8-12 years of sales experience in housing finance, preferably in affordable housing loans, with at least 3-5 years in a regional leadership role. 
Skills: 
 Strong leadership and team management skills. 
 Excellent knowledge of the affordable housing finance segment. 
 Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. 
 Ability to analyze data and take strategic decisions. 
 Fluency in regional languages is a plus. 
 Performance Metrics:
