Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Accounts Receivable (AR) Executive

with strong knowledge of

Workers' Compensation medical billing

. The role involves managing unpaid and underpaid claims, following up with insurance carriers, employers, TPAs, and attorneys, and ensuring timely reimbursement while maintaining compliance with Workers' Comp regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Follow up on

Workers' Compensation claims

with insurance carriers, TPAs, employers, and attorneys Analyze

denied, rejected, unpaid, and underpaid claims

and take corrective action Work on

EOB/ERA analysis

and identify payment discrepancies Handle

appeals, reconsiderations, and dispute resolutions

Post payments and adjustments accurately in billing systems Ensure compliance with

state-specific Workers' Compensation rules and fee schedules

Maintain AR aging reports and reduce outstanding balances Coordinate with coding, billing, and front-office teams for missing or incorrect information Document all follow-up actions and communications accurately Meet daily and monthly

AR productivity and collection targets

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of

Workers' Compensation billing workflow

Knowledge of

WC carriers, TPAs, employers, and attorney-based billing

Familiarity with

CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS

, and WC fee schedules Experience with

AR follow-up tools and practice management systems

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - US calling experience preferred) Ability to work AR aging buckets (30/60/90/120+ days) Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in

US Workers' Compensation AR

Exposure to multiple US state WC regulations Experience with EMRs / Billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athena, eCW, etc.) Graduate in Commerce or related field (preferred)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Reduction in AR aging First-pass resolution rate Collection ratio Appeal success rate Productivity and turnaround time
Shift Timings

US Shift (Evening/Night as per business requirement)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
