This position will be responsible for all kind of transaction processing related to Accounts payable and receivable for India as well as foreign entities which will include verification of invoices and ensuring timely payments to the vendors and timely accounting of the necessary entries in ERP related to General ledger, payables and receivables.

This role requires an in-depth understanding of the matters related to accounting entries and TDS, GST etc in the Indian scenario. Its good to have knowledge about UAE and overseas taxation processes also. Knowledge of ERP accounting packages is also required.

What you will do?

• • Participate in projects related to ERP implementation, automation projects etc wrt Accounts payable/receivable process.
  • Regular Accounting of entries and ensuring month end closure on time in Radix group entities in ERP.
  • Manage the monthly financial close process/calendar, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
  • Timely verification and payments of employee?s reimbursements via reimbursement tool.
  • Preparations of month end schedule related to Prepaid, advances, Fixed deposits, Accrued exp etc.
  • Bank reconciliation to ensure the accounting of all payments and collections and preparation of cashflow statements.
  • Innovative ideas to bring automation in the processes, cost optimization ideas.
  • Preparation of month end accruals/provisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and implement the best practices.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and ensure the proper controls.
  • Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns and timely VAT refund in UAE.
  • Work with Financial reporting, Legal, Tax and Treasury Manager to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities.
  • Work cohesively on budgeting requirements and analysis wrt Accounts payable and receivables.
  • Ensure all monthly reconciliation are in place.
  • Constantly endeavor to bring in efficiency in existing processes and systems.

What do you need?

• • Graduate with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Strong accounting skills with understanding of P&L, Balance sheet and cashflow.
  • Basic knowledge about GST and income tax act.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of working on different accounting platforms/ systems.
