to manage end-to-end accounting operations for our restaurant business. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in restaurant accounting, GST compliance, inventory control, and purchase management, with the ability to handle daily operations independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily accounts, ledgers, and accurate bookkeeping
Handle GST filings, returns, and statutory compliance
Manage vendor payments, reconciliation, and follow-ups
Monitor daily sales reports, cash flow, and bank reconciliation
Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and MIS reports
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and authorities
Control food cost, operating expenses, and overall budgets
Track inventory movement and reconcile stock with purchases and sales
Monitor purchase entries, GRNs, and vendor invoices
Ensure accurate stock valuation and wastage control
Analyze purchase trends, price variances, and cost impact
Implement internal controls for inventory, purchases, and cash handling
Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality accounting
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
Hands-on experience with Tally / Zoho / similar accounting software
Good working knowledge of Excel and MIS reporting
Experience with POS systems and daily sales reconciliation preferred
Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
