The Accounts Trainee will assist the finance team in performing daily accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing reports, and supporting audits. This role provides hands-on experience in accounting practices and financial management within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
Support the preparation of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Assist with bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support the finance team during internal and external audits.
Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
Participate in other finance-related projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time management skills.
