Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Financial Management

Maintain day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliation. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Manage accounts payable and receivable, credit control, and vendor payments. Reconcile bank accounts and ensure proper cash management. Handle petty cash and daily cash collection from showroom and service center.

2. Sales, Service & Spare Parts Accounting

Record and monitor vehicle sales, service billing, and spare parts inventory. Coordinate with sales and service teams to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition. Track insurance, registration, and finance-related payments and commissions. Oversee warranty claim settlements and credit notes from OEMs (manufacturers).

3. Taxation & Compliance

Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings and returns. Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and internal audits. Ensure compliance with local laws, company policies, and automotive regulatory norms.

4. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare management reports and financial summaries for review by management. Analyze financial performance and recommend cost-control measures. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

5. Coordination & Team Management

Supervise accounts staff and allocate responsibilities efficiently. Liaise with banks, auditors, OEMs, and government departments. Train and guide junior accountants on accounting procedures and ERP systems.
