Job Description

Accounts Management



Bookkeeping & Documentation:

Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts, in the accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks). Prepare and maintain essential financial documents, such as

vouchers

, invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.

Reconciliation:

Perform

bank reconciliation

and cash reconciliation regularly to ensure accuracy between records and balances.

Compliance:

Assist in the preparation and filing of

GST returns

and other statutory compliance documents as required. Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.

Reporting:

Generate basic financial reports, such as

Trial Balance

,

Profit & Loss statements

, and

Balance Sheets

, for management review. Manage payroll records and process employee salaries.

II. Stores/Inventory Management



Inventory Control:

Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching of

raw materials

(e.g., flour, sugar, butter), packaging materials, and finished goods. Implement and maintain an efficient

FIFO (First-In, First-Out)

system to minimize waste, particularly for perishable bakery ingredients.

Stock Records:

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all stock movements and inventory levels using a manual or computerized system. Conduct

regular physical stock counts

(daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile them with system records.

Procurement Support:

Identify and report on low stock levels to trigger timely purchase requests. Verify incoming material deliveries against purchase orders for quantity and quality.

Stores Organization:

Ensure the store facility is clean, organized, and compliant with all relevant

hygiene and safety standards

(especially crucial for a food-related business).

Requirements and Qualifications



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.

Experience:

3+ years of proven experience in an Accounts or Stores role, preferably in the

FMCG or Food industry

.

Accounting Software Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or similar.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially

Excel

.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and inventory management techniques.

Attributes:

Excellent

attention to detail

and accuracy. Strong

organizational

and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Pay: ?21,000.00 - ?23,000.00 per month
