Job Summary:

The

Accounts cum F&B Controller

is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and controls related to the Food & Beverage (F&B) department, while also managing broader accounting functions. This role ensures cost-effectiveness, inventory control, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with internal policies and standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background with experience in F&B cost control.

Key Responsibilities:Accounts & Finance:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Monitor budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure compliance with taxation and statutory regulations.

F&B Control:

Monitor food and beverage costs, wastage, and variance. Analyze F&B profitability and suggest improvements. Oversee inventory management and stock-taking procedures. Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes. Implement internal controls for inventory and cost tracking.

Coordination & Reporting:

Work closely with the F&B and kitchen teams to track consumption and control wastage. Provide cost reports to management and highlight trends or discrepancies. Participate in pricing decisions based on cost analysis. Liaise with auditors, vendors, and internal departments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with F&B exposure. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred:

Experience in hospitality or F&B industry. Knowledge of inventory control systems and cost accounting.
