Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Invoice Processing:

Processing invoices, reconciling them with purchase orders, and ensuring timely payments.

Bank Reconciliation:

Reconciling bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

Financial Statement Preparation:

Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Payroll Processing:

Assisting with payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, and preparing payroll reports.

Budget Management:

Assisting with budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and identifying potential cost savings.

Administrative Support:

Providing general administrative support to the accounting department, such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Communication:

Communicating with customers and suppliers regarding invoices and payments.

Data Accuracy:

Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
