Job Summary
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for supporting the Finance & Accounts Department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, handling cash transactions, assisting in payroll preparation, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and statutory requirements. The role contributes to smooth financial operations and supports decision-making for management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.
Record customer receipts and reconcile outstanding balances.
Maintain proper filing of vouchers, bills, and receipts.
2. Daily Accounting Operations
Post journal entries and update ledgers in the accounting system.
Assist in preparing daily revenue and expense reports.
Handle petty cash, reimbursements, and maintain proper records.
3. Bank & Cash Management
Prepare bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
Assist with deposits, withdrawals, and cheque management.
4. Payroll Support
Assist in compiling attendance, overtime, and other payroll-related data.
Ensure statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS) are processed accurately.
5. Statutory Compliance & Audit Support
Maintain proper documentation for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Assist auditors with required reports and reconciliations.
6. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare monthly MIS reports as instructed by the Accounts Manager.
Coordinate with other departments for invoice verification and clarifications.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting (preferably in hotel/hospitality industry).
Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., IDS, Tally, or other ERP systems).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances.
Good MS Excel and MS Office skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
