We\'re on the hunt for a Senior Accountant performs various daily and monthly general accounting activities for the company\'s multiple entities on multiple ERP systems, which includes the creation of journal entries, preparation of support schedules and account reconciliations for balance sheet assets and accruals. Responsibilities also include performing accounts receivables and accounts payable functions for multiple entities. The Senior Accountant reports to Director of Finance and Procurement - APAC and will also assist in process improvements, process documentation, system migrations and integration projects.

As part of our team, your Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for closing books of accounts and preparation of monthly financials.
  • Posting of Journal entries into ERP system on a daily basis.
  • Preparation of BRS on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for closing books of group entities / associate entities on a monthly basis.
  • Handle accounts receivables activities - Invoice raising, accounting and reporting of the same.
  • Handling bank documentation w.r.t inward remittance.
  • Handle accounts payables activities - Vendor payments, accounting and reporting of the same.
  • Maintain Fixed assets register.
  • Knowledge on capitalization of fixed assets and computation of depreciation on a monthly basis.
  • Handle TDS returns, GST returns, RBI filings and STPI returns etc.
  • Handling statutory audits and various other audits.
  • Responsible for preparation of Income tax computation and filing of income tax returns.
  • Responsible for handling TP audit.
  • Responsible for closing of books of associate entities on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in ERP system(s) implementations, migrations and periodic system upgrade testing.
  • Assist in the development of processes and documentation of the same.
  • Reduce time frames for deliverables in financial closing and reporting process.
  • Handle Adhoc activities as and when required by management.
You\'ll need to bring:-
  • Chartered Accountant with 5 to 6 years of progressive work experience.
  • Experienced in accounting within ERP systems.
  • Advance level proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail with excellent accuracy, completeness and consistency, while adhering to strict deadlines with excellent organization and ability to thoroughly document and organized workpapers.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) to present information, provide status updates and respond to inquiries from various managers, internal and external customers of the organization.
  • Problem Solving skills.
  • Confident and professionally poised with proven ability to work in a fast-paced and multiple location team environment, meet deadlines and adapt to a change with a seamless effect on the business.
  • A positive approach and willingness to learn coupled with the ability to work in a team environment.
We\'d be thrilled to hear that you also have:
  • Industry experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences/ and/or software project-management-based technology.
  • Experience in ERP system migrations and implementation and automation projects.
What you\'ll need to succeed with us?
  • Must have excellent analytical skills with proven ability to comprehend business requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively document procedures, processes and results.
  • Practical experience with modern test, defect and requirement management tools.
  • Must be a team-oriented person with a \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.
Decision Making and Influence:
  • Highly collaborative relationship with members of the Accounting and Finance function at global and multiple subsidiaries.
  • Highly collaborative relationship with Finance-IT to support ERP system processes, automation and upgrades and integrating other systems which feed to the general ledger
