Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant - Norway Accounting to join our KPO team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting for multiple clients, preferably servicing Norwegian companies or similar European jurisdictions.The role involves managing daily bookkeeping, indirect tax filings, period-end closing, and supporting finalisation and basic tax preparation activities.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting for multiple Norwegian clients
• Daily bookkeeping, including: Sales & purchase/expanses accounting
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Payroll creating and postings
• Prepare and file Norwegian VAT (MVA) returns
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in finalization of accounts as per Norwegian accounting standards
• Support basic tax preparation and annual reporting requirements
• Ensure accuracy, timelines, and compliance with client SOPs
• Coordinate with onshore teams / clients for queries and clarifications
• Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready working paper

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong fundamental accounting knowledge
• Minimum 4 years of experience in:
• Managing multiple clients
• End-to-end accounting processes
• Sales tax / VAT filings
• Finalization support
• Qualification: CA / Inter CA / M.Com / Commerce Graduate with relevant experience
• Good understanding of European / Norwegian accounting concepts (preferred)
• Experience working in a KPO / outsourcing environment
• Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Visma, Tripletex, PowerOffice, SnelStart is an advantage)
• Good Excel skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Experience working with Norwegian or Nordic clients
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Process-driven and detail-oriented
• Comfortable handling deadlines and multiple clients

Shift timings: 12 PM - 9:30 PM
