Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will assist with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and practices. This position is ideal for a candidate looking to grow their career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:



Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

General Ledger Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and performing reconciliations.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Expense Management:

Review and reconcile employee expense reports.

Bank Reconciliations:

Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

Assist with Audits:

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Data Entry:

Accurately enter financial data into accounting software.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Support Senior Accountants:

Provide support to senior accountants and managers in various accounting tasks and projects.

Other Duties:

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

6months-1 years of accounting experience preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant internships or coursework may be considered.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

Knowledge:

Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Certifications:

Pursuing or willing to pursue CPA or other relevant certifications is a plus.
