ROLE OBJECTIVE

To take responsibilities for various activities performed in Costing and Inventory Team. This role will be driving enhanced visibility to the management into various Reporting and Analytical requirements and establish a linkage between financial performance and decision-making. The Senior Financial Analyst will have a significant impact on data presentation, assessing improvements areas in the field of Reporting and Analytics within the Costing & Inventory Team and assist Business teams in achieving their short term and long-term performance goals. The Senior Financial Analyst will interact with BU Leaders from all functions and understand their reporting / analytics requirement and commit to a timely reporting schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing Month-end Analysis Reports and complete the Month end Financial entries for the month close
Bring in automation in daily costing requests, setting up standard prices and other regular activities
Co-ordinating with BUs and other teams during annual re-cost, clearing errors and ensuring the setup of correct standard prices. Handle Reporting for Annual Recosting, Impact Analysis.
Working with BUs on standard and ad hoc inventory related reports and queries
Possess strong commercial acumen to translate the data set into meaningful insights in the form of Standard / Ad-hoc Reporting

SKILL & EXPERIENCE

MBA in Business / Finance from a reputed Business School / CA / CMA with 1-3 years of relevant experience in an MNC organization
Good understanding of Data Structure, Business Analytics and Reporting Requirements in a complicated Multi BU environment
Critical thinker and strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly skilled with SAP, Excel, Access & PowerPoint. Knowledge of Hyperion, Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, SQL is desirable. Knowledge of advanced data analytics tool experience (such as Python, R, Hadoop etc.) would be a plus.
